Education and Teaching Experience

  • Nick studied Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge, and received his teaching qualification from King’s College London. He has worked in London schools for 8 years and has held numerous roles, including Head of Sixth Form English, Senior Tutor, and Higher Education and Aspiration Officer.

Examining Experience

  • Nick has worked as an English A Level examiner for Edexcel.

Student and Teacher Success

  • Nick has used his passion for education and facilitating student success as teacher, tutor and consultant to schools. As a teacher he achieved some of the best English Literature results for a state school nationally, and has delivered many CPD sessions to staff both on pedagogy inside, and outside, the classroom. He was also responsible for Oxbridge applications at his most recent inner-city London school, where he facilitated over 80 student offers over a six-year period.

Published Work

  • Nick started his career in journalism, primarily as an editor, but also had many articles published on the topic of education. He has also assumed the role of editor on many books.
