    Cookies Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies across the Site to improve its performance and enhance your user experience. This policy explains how we do that.

    What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognise your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files can do the same thing. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

Cookies serve many functions. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyse how well our website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you.

Certain cookies may record personal information – for example, if you click “Remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies will not collect information that identifies you personally, and will instead allow us to collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use the Site.

What sort of cookies does Save My Exams use?

Generally, we may use cookies for several different purposes, such as to:

    • Remember choices that users have made in the past (“Preference cookies”)

    • Show you personalised advertisements (“Marketing cookies”)

These reasons require your explicit consent, and as such they are never pre-selected when you first visit the Site.

However, we also use cookies for specific reasons (“Special Purposes”) under the legal basis of our Legitimate Interests, for which users do not have the option to opt-out:

    • Monitor for and prevent fraudulent activity, and ensure systems and processes work properly and securely (“Strictly necessary cookies”)
    • Technically deliver advertisements or content
