Walnut Pesto

Here is a tasty and simple recipe for a versatile walnut pesto:

 

For 4 servings

  • 80g walnuts
  • 60g basil leaves
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 50g grated parmesan or pecorino
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Juice of ½ lemon

 

Method

  • Add all the ingredients (except the cheese) into a food processor, and pulse until well combined
  • Add in the cheese and season to your liking
  • Pulse again for a few more seconds, then store in an airtight container until ready to be used
