Education

  • Ruth graduated from Sheffield University with a degree in Biology before completing a PGCE at the University of Warwick. Ruth then went on to teach Science in London whilst also completing an MA in innovation in Education, promoting independence and deeper understanding in Science.

Teaching Experience

  • Ruth has built up over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, setting up a successful local tuition service. Over this time, she has also examined for two of the leading UK exam boards at both GCSE and A-level.

Student Success

  • During her masters study, Ruth researched the impact of developing independent study skills and went on to instil these independent study methods in students with which she worked. The success of the many students that she has worked with over her 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience can be attributed to the lessons learnt during this process.
