Education and Teaching Experience

• Lisa gained a BA in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Keele University, followed by PGCE in Business at Staffordshire University. Since then, she has taught A Level Business in the UK for over 20 years and has held a number of roles, including Head of Business and Head of Sixth Form.

Student and Teacher Success

• Lisa has brought creativity and academic discipline to the range of settings in which she has led Business subjects. She has successfully delivered the range of vocational and academic Business qualifications and supported her students to achieve outstanding results. Lisa has also taught Economics, Finance, Maths and Geography and has developed and delivered numerous CPD events for early careers teachers, including the effective teaching of examination technique and formative assessment.

Examining Experience

• Lisa has worked as an A-level examiner for all of the major UK exam boards, and is currently a senior examiner for Edexcel GCE Business. She has edited examination papers and worked with OfQual on specification development.

Published work

• Lisa developed a popular Mini-MBA course for an international school and has contributed materials to Economics and Business Education Association journals.
