Education
Katie graduated from the University of Sheffield with a first-class degree in Astrophysics before completing a PGCE in Secondary Science at the University of Bristol. Katie was awarded a prestigious Institute of Physics Scholarship for her exceptional subject knowledge and dedication to teaching.
Teaching experience
After becoming a qualified teacher, Katie spent 5 years teaching physics (as well as chemistry and biology) at secondary schools and sixth forms across the UK, Spain and, more recently, online. Throughout her career, she also gained experience as a maths teacher, a specialist SEN teacher, and even a lab technician!
Published work
Before her time with Save My Exams, Katie worked as an author and proofreader for two educational publishers, where she learned that high-quality content does not just require strong subject knowledge, but also savvy writing skills and a deep understanding of the specific requirements of each exam board. She harnesses this knowledge and experience in her role at Save My Examsto ensure that our resources provide students with everything they need to reach their full potential.
