Education and work

• Joel has had an interest in education since his experiences at university, where he implemented a peer mentoring scheme and contributed to guidance on plagiarism within Higher Education. He believes that the study of history gives students a strong understanding into how past events have shaped the world we live in today. Joel gets great fulfillment from sharing his passion for history with others.

Student and teacher success

• Joel has built an outstanding rapport with his students, supporting GCSE students through their History, and RE, exams. He is lead humanities teacher in his current position, and has developed a strong insight into the curriculum.

Published Work

• Joel has also worked as an educational content author alongside teaching. He has gained further experience into what examiners are looking for and how to present this to students in an accessible and engaging way.
