Teaching experience

James trained as a Computer Science teacher in 2008 and has taught Computer Science and ICT at GCSE and A-level for over 14 years. James has held departmental middle leadership roles including Head of Computer Science, as well as both key stage 3 and key stage 4 coordinator of Computer Science.

Student Success

James has led a department in which students achieved results in the top 10% of the country on numerous occasions. James and his department were responsible for students achieving 60% of the grade 9s in the county of Northumberland.

Education

James graduated from the University of Sunderland with a degree in ICT and Computing education with QTS.

Interests

James has a particular interest in networking security and technologies preventing security breaches.
