Education and Work:

Jacqueline’s specialism is Environmental Science, but she has equal experience in both teaching and tutoring human and physical Geography. She particularly loves teaching A Level, where inspiring the next generation with a deep understanding of our interconnected world is priceless.

  • Jacqueline has experience teaching and tutoring across various exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, CIE, and OCR, at GCSE, IGCSE, A Level, and International A Level, both in-person and online.

  • Since September 2022, Jacqueline has been a Geography Content Creator at Save My Exams, contributing her teaching and tutoring experience and a commitment to accessible education.

  • Jacqueline studied her degree online with the Open University, providing her with insight into creating high-quality, easily accessible content.

  • Prior to joining Save My Exams, Jacqueline taught online for a leading education provider, where she developed geography courses and taught hundreds of students across different educational stages.

Expertise:

  • With over 20 years in education, Jacqueline has lived and taught overseas, raised four children, and led a department in a newly built University Technical College.

  • At the University Technical College, Jacqueline developed teaching methodologies and course structures to blend technical learning with academic success.

  • Jacqueline adapted and developed remote teaching methods, including virtual tours and experiments, to overcome challenges like fieldwork limitations.

  • She has a passion for remote teaching, spending over six years inspiring students to connect concepts and challenge misconceptions in Geography.

Areas of Interest:

In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys gardening, cooking, solving puzzles, reading, and has an eclectic taste in music. She also considers herself a lifelong learner, recently restudying Latin and completing an online course on 'Planetary Boundaries and Human Opportunities' by Johan Rockström of Stockholm Resilience Centre.
