About

Education and work

  • Alistair has taught GCSE/IGCSE Biology, as well as Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. He was also Head of Department for Environmental Systems and Societies whilst teaching in Oxford.

Education and academic qualifications

  • Alistair graduated from Oxford University in 2014 with a degree in Biological Sciences. While teaching in Oxford, Alistair completed his MA Education with the University of Manchester. He then completed an MSc Wildlife Biology and Conservation with Edinburgh Napier University whilst working for Save My Exams.

Teaching and academic interests

  • Alistair is passionate about environmental science, ecology and conservation. He loves teaching, writing revision notes and creating exam-style questions for students on these topics and also enjoys continually developing his own knowledge on these topics.

Hobbies

  • Alistair previously lived in Munich near the Alps for two years and is now based in North Wales right next to Snowdonia National Park - conveniently his favourite past-time is hiking!!!
