  • Look for facts

    • I have 4 different points (no information is repeated)
    • I’ve stuck to the information in the text (not imagined any details)
    • I’ve interpreted any figurative language (i.e. “The tree was a giant” = the tree was large)

Correct answers include (one mark for each separate answer):

  • He is a jeweller
  • He works in a shop
  • He works with 4 other men
  • He wears gloves
  • He has a private office

You could also include:

  • He is wealthy
  • He’s the boss
  • He arrives at work after his 4 staff
  • He doesn’t speak to his staff when he arrives
  • He is envied by his staff
  • He works in private

You get NO marks for:

  • He doesn’t speak (not the same as didn’t speak)
  • His staff don’t like him (not the same as envying)
