  • Global warming is a kind of climate change since the average temperature across the globe is higher.
  • Effects of global warming include difficulties in obtaining fresh drinking water, melting of the polar ice caps, flooding and flash fires, and the destruction of ecosystems.
  • Changes in rainfall patterns may lead to uneven distribution of water, causing flooding in some regions and drought in others.
  • This along with changes in temperature will affect the distribution of wildlife.
